The 35th Administration of Kappa Alpha Psi, in partnership with the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation, is pleased to launch the Undergraduate Loyalty Fund. This new program creates a centralized, and nation-wide, effort to garner financial support for each undergraduate chapter intended to subsidize functioning expenses.

How to Support the Undergraduate Loyalty Fund

The Undergraduate Loyalty Fund is easy to join with three simple steps.

  1. Visit the ULF webpage: https://thekappafoundation.givecloud.co/UGLoyalty2
  2. Identify the chapter(s) you wish to contribute to.
  3. Set-up a donation amount and at a recurrence of your choice.

The Why

The majority of our undergraduate chapters are facing increasing challenges and barriers to meet the expenses to function. Some of these include:

  • Increase operations cost
  • Exhaustive campus policies that can inhibit fundraising
  • Social liability of fundraising efforts
  • Insufficient, or inconsistent, existing support
  • The average cost for each undergraduate chapter to function is $3,200.00 each year to cover registrations, insurance, campus assessments, and additional required contributions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if we already have an Alumni Association or Foundation for our undergrad chapter?  This program is meant to be a complementary resource to existing support. Additionally, for chapters that do not have an Alumni Association, this provides one to support them. This is not meant to replace supporting associations or foundations, but to contribute.

What if my chapter isn’t active?  Any chapter can receive donations, but chapters can only use the funds when “In Good Standing.” This is a great tool for chapters planning to re-activate in the future.

Do I have to be an initiate of a chapter to contribute?  No. Anyone can contribute to any chapter of their choice.
