In October 2020, John Davis was appointed by Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis to serve as the 10th Secretary of the Florida Lottery.

Davis is an active volunteer and accomplished leader with 25+ years of service and success in the public/private sectors, who recently led two Central Florida Chambers of Commerce and spent almost 10 years selling medical devices. In 2018, Orlando Magazine named Davis a Top 15 Leader to Watch. Brother Davis is a member of the Winter Park (FL) Alumni of Kappa Alpha Psi® Fraternity, Inc.
