Dean A. Tossie (Fort Lauderdale (FL) Alumni 2007) earned his bachelor’s degree with  honors in Health Care Management from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical  University, where he was the recipient of a 2012 Distinguished Alumnus Award from  the college of Allied Health Sciences. Working 26 years for Cigna Corporation, he has  had many progressive leadership roles in three different Cigna business lines.
A Life  Member of the Fraternity and the Southern Province, he is currently a member of the Fort Lauderdale (FL) Alumni Chapter where he has served as Polemarch, Vice  Polemarch, Keeper of Exchequer, Member at Large, and Reporter among other positions.
